Even better, these chocolate brownies are made with love. You can actually taste the heart and soul effort that are put into these brownies. Hence the title, “made with love: chocolate brownies with walnuts. I know that sounds funny but, it’s sooo true!
They are a million times better than boxed brownies for sure.
Now, If you are a boxed brownie fan then, be true to yourself. Whenever you’re willing to step out of the box, this recipe will be here waiting for you. They are quick and easy to put together with ingredients you can easily find at the grocery store or already have in your pantry.
These chocolate brownies are also great without nuts but, the addition of walnuts just adds to the whole experience. You can eat them by themselves or with a generous scoop of ice cream and go to town. They taste even better the day afterwards.

How long will these made with love: chocolate brownies with walnuts last ?
- On the counter, the chocolate brownies will last 3 to 4 days.
- You should wrap the brownies in cling wrap then, put them in a Ziploc bag.
- Make sure you get as much air out of the bag!
- In the fridge, the chocolate brownies will last about a week.
- wrap them just like you would if you were leaving them on the counter.
- In the freezer, the chocolate brownies will last about 3 months.
- follow instruction for keeping them on the counter

- mixing bowl
- dough whisk
- 8×8 square baking dish
- parchment paper
Ingredients for these chocolate brownies with walnuts:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup finely granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate morsels
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- chopped nuts (optional)
How to make these chocolate brownies with walnuts:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Gather all of your ingredients.

In a bowl, combine cocoa powder, brown sugar, sugar, flour and sea salt together.

In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, olive oil, vanilla extract, and melted butter together.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.

Fold in the chocolate chips and and chopped nuts (I used walnuts) into the batter. You can omit the nuts if you have an allergy or just don’t want to add them. It will be great either way!


Spoon the batter into an 8×8 baking dish lined with parchment paper. Make sure to spread it out evenly in the dish.

Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes.
Let rest on a cooling rack for 20 minutes. Remove the chocolate brownies with the parchment paper from the baking dish and place on the same cooling rack. Let rest for an additional 10-15 minutes.



Now it’s time to grab a few chocolate brownies and a glass of milk. Enjoy!
